Rimas Ciurlionis was born in Kaunas, Lithuania. After
completing his studies at Stepas Zukas Art College, he was employed in
the restoration of frescoes at the baroque period Pazaislis Monastery
outside of Kaunas. In 1992, Ciurlionis came to the U.S. and settled in
the Chicago area. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions
throughout Lithuania and the U.S. and his work is included in many public
and private collections both here and abroad. Ciurlionis' work has been
featured in both The Chicago Art Scene and Art Scene Chicago publications.
